Therapy with Botulinum toxin
Botox enjoys great popularity among women as well as among men. The Botulinum toxin is most effective in the case of dynamic wrinkles, which appear on the upper half of the face: the forehead, between the eyebrows and the little wrinkles around the eye contours – crow’s feet. The Botox injections paralyze the mimic musculature.
The paralysis begins from 3 to 14 days after the injection; the effect lasts approximately from six months to one year. The Botox breaks down the enzymes in the organism and the nerve endings regain their function. This method is fast, painless and bloodless, and is preferred by many patients for these reasons.
